Air Curtains

Air Curtains by Cross Flow India create an invisible barrier of high-velocity air that effectively separates and controls environments. They help retain conditioned air inside your workspace while keeping unconditioned air, dust, pests, and pollutants out. CFI Air Curtains are installed above doorways, just above the header. Ambient air is drawn through the front intake grill into the fan baskets. The blower wheel then directs the air into CFI’s advanced air chambers, compressing it and forcing it downward through the discharge nozzle.

This invisible “air shield” acts as a barrier, preventing conditioned air from escaping and blocking external air from entering, even when doors are open or absent.

Note: Performance may be affected in cases of inward drafts caused by building exhaust systems, also known as negative pressure.

Energy conservation

Cross Flow India (CFI) Air Curtains operate efficiently year-round, helping reduce energy costs by retaining conditioned air while keeping out dust, smoke, insects, and other unwanted elements. In winter, the air curtain recirculates warm air rising to the ceiling while creating a barrier against cold air. In summer, the invisible air shield prevents hot, humid air from entering, maintaining a cool and comfortable indoor environment. When used for energy control, the typical payback period through energy savings is less than two years.

Models vary in air volume and velocity to suit different applications. By maintaining a consistent air barrier, they prevent dust, insects, and unwanted hot or cold air from entering, helping maintain indoor comfort.
